Interactive Webinar Series

The webinar is open to anyone interested in learning about Mongolia, the Mongolian people, history, and the Takhi.  Attendance at the in-person event in September is not required for participation in the webinar series. This course is divided into seven modules, with one new module being unlocked each month. Participants have the opportunity to review the content independently. Additionally, several live sessions will be held, with the dates to be determined.

THE INTERACTIVE WEBINAR SERIES

  • Understand the Historical Context of the Takhi’s Near Extinction, Successful Reintroduction, and Ongoing International Conservation Efforts Explore the Lived Experience of People Interacting with Takhi and the Gobi Ecosystem
     

  • Discuss the Importance of Ethology in Preserving the Takhi Population in the Cultural & Historical Context
     

  • Explore Multinational and Multicultural Efforts in Wildlife Conservation and Sustainable Practices

Your information will be collected by Learning Wild and the International Takhi Group (ITG) for webinar series registration only and will not be shared with third parties.

An invoice from ITG will be sent in March, and upon payment, you’ll receive links to access the webinars.

The Webinar Series will be running from March 2025 till August 2025. Participants will have flexible access to the material during that time. The Webinar dates are yet to be confirmed, but by Registering (RSVP'ing) to the event you will be registering your interest, and therefore will be added to the mailing list so that you will be notified when the date is set, and any more information about the series.
